This is a plot of the inner product of sin(t) and cos(t) divided by the length of the inner product. This is intended to show two things. Firstly, that over most analysis intervals, sine and cosine are not orthogonal (they are for analysis length corresponding to the zeros). Secondly, that the approximation improves with longer analysis durations.
